The antique Japanese technique chosen by Cristina Secco as an ideal means of expression to create unique items to be worn.
The result is not a weft and warp twine, but a manual textile realisation which has turned into a contemporary ritual. The slow manipulation is carried out laying down on the pure foundational fabric, such as cotton, linen or silk gauzes, small quantities of wool fibres, then wet and rubbed with water and soap, lathered, and finally rubbed again.
The colours represent an experimentation desire, the echo of feelings, inspiration, and instinct.
The warm surfaces, touching and soft, catch the light; the geometric lines, abstract and pictorial expression, always find their balance with the shape they are plunged in.
The designed clothes are simple and contemporary creations that warm the body and the soul together with a production blending chromatic power, instinctive gesturality and essential lines.
